What is QLF Technology?
QLF, or Quantitative Light-Induced Fluorescence, is an advanced imaging technology developed by Inspektor Research Systems BV. It uses safe blue-violet light to reveal bacterial activity, mature plaque, demineralization, enamel defects, cracks, calculus, and other oral health indicators.
Areas of increased bacterial activity fluoresce red or orange, while healthy tooth structure emits a natural green fluorescence.
This allows clinicians to:

- quantify plaque and bacterial activity objectively;
- monitor demineralization and remineralization over time;
